Last few weeks have been major turning points-- for my entire family

Pa got retired on 28th Feb and moved from Kudremukh to Bangalore! After 21 years in Kudremukh, its natural to imagine that a move to a busy city like bangalore would be challenging! But Banashankari has made this transition a lot smoother--- Our new house, its location, the traffic around the area- its all been just right so far.. TOUCHWOOD!

For me.. entire process has been quiet moving... It began on Mar 1st- I was in Kudremukh to help out with packing. At 7.00pm, Pa was invited with family to Expatriates for his farewell ceremony from the KV Staff-- It was amazing feeling to see all his years of service to be summed up before us.

We were in Bangalore on 5th. The house and location put me at comfort instantly.
The next two days involved unpaccking, arranging for gas conx, phone lines, arranging for maids etc. I was back In Mangalore by Wednesday- to see the most delightful mail - an invitation to join the panelist for Lateral recruitment in "BANGALORE". This meant I could be at home by Friday eve...:)
Saturday in Electronic City and Sunday got lost in Jayanagar 4th block- shopping for small li'l somethings for home. By the time i was back in Mangalore on Monday, the minor issues with acqua gaurd, gas giezer and washing m/c were fixed.

I might be travelling to Bangalore on official reasons again this weekend-- This seems one of the most well timed and welcome changes lately ..:)

Also, Dad and Mom are enjoying living with sis now...its almost after 8 yrs :)

At work, things seem in control... I truly wish there were 48 hrs in a day... Therez always so much MORE to do!
