MASH- 4077

Anand introduced it to me a coupla moths ago. At first I couldnt believe for a minute that anything could beat FRIENDS(was a die-hard fan).
But One episode and I was head-over-heels for MASH. I havent been able to appreciate FRIENDS ever since.

A Mobile Hospital unit set up in the back-drop of Korean war, Moral packed amidst Comedy is how I describe MASH. The series depicts how a bunch of docs and nurses help the war-wounded and Their attempts to infuse humor in every-day life. The beauty lies in how the humor is maintained without diluting or exaggerating the pains of a WAR.

I just finished the finale-- couldnt contain my tears for most of it. Must admit, may be they pulled it a li'l tooo hard.. may be the last blow could have been mellowed a tad. I recommend the heads of all the nations watch the finale!- That might do a lot of good to a lot...

We The People

I have been a faithful "We The People" viewer. And an admirer for quiet a while..

To me, WTP now is Good Discussions... but overshadowed by too many ads and breaks and most of all the Moderater...
I hate to admit( cuz I am a huge admirer of Barkha Dutt), the moderater is far too overwhelmingly overpowering for an open discussion. It seems like the idea of elite discussion is diluted by just having too many half -made expert opinions. The number of studio audience and experts keep growing with every episode, but the effective discussion time seems to have reduced.
